Damon Shulman (figlio di Phil dei Gentle Giant), dopo vari album a proprio nome (tra i quali segnalo l'ottimo A Brief Moment of Panic), ha formato, insieme ai figli Elliot e Rowan e a Mark Payne, il gruppo The Bending Space che ha pubblicato questo buon EP d'esordio.

Originally released in 2003, this album is acknowledged as Damon's first solo recording subsequent to the Different Trains album 'On the right track'. There are guest performences from Paul Cook and John Jowitt (IQ) and also from previous colleagues in Different Trains. The inclusion of Rats from 'Then' also means there is the first performance on any album from Philip Shulman since the release of Gentle Giant's 'Octopus' in 1972.
