Uscirà il 6 dicembre ma è già disponibile in pre-ordine Leader Of The Starry Skies - A Tribute To Tim Smith. Songbook 1, una raccolta di brani dei Cardiacs coverizzati da molti artisti - tra i quali Oceansize, Steven Wilson, Julianne Regan e Rose Kemp - che hanno accettato e aderito gratuitamente nel partecipare a questo tributo dedicato al leader dei Cardiacs Tim Smith.
Smith è infatti attualmente in ospedale in una lunga convalescenza dal 2008 dopo aver avuto un ictus. I soldi ricavati dalle vendite del CD andranno totalmente devoluti per venire incontro alle cure necessarie per far tornare Smith a casa. Il tutto è stato organizzato e portato avanti dal chitarrista dei Cardiacs e leader dei Knifeworld Kavus Torabi.
Oltre che consigliare l'acquisto di quest'opera al fine di sostenere tale causa (ricordo che il pre-ordine comprende anche un CD aggiuntivo) facciamo i migliori auguri a Tim Smith.
